Leviathan was an experiment in transmedia and world building from the World Building Media Lab at USC. Based on the novels by Scott Westerfeld, the project worked on developing an immersive, persistent space that could allow for stories, VR exploration, AR installations, and experimented in expanding the disciplines and methods used to create such spaces. Writers, actors, directors, cinematographers, game designers, and progammers worked together to expand on traditional ideas of story telling and interactivity.
Aspects of the project were shown at the 2014 CES Keynote and Sundance New Frontiers in 2016.
I worked as a designer/programmer on the project – for more information check out this link: https://worldbuilding.usc.edu/projects/the-leviathan/
